manifold classification If a population is divided into a number of mutually exclusive classes according to some given characteristic and then each class is divided by reference to some second, third, etc. characteristic, the final grouping is called a manifold classification. تصنيف متعدد النواحي لو كان مجتمع دراسة منقسم إلى صفوف حصرية متبادلة وفقاً لبعض الميزات، وكان كل صف منقسم عبر المرجع إلى صف ثانٍ وثالث، الخ.... تُدعى المجموعة الأخيرة تصنيفاً متعدد النواحي.
disaggregation Disaggregation is the breakdown of observations, usually within a common branch of a hierarchy, to a more detailed level to that at which detailed observations are taken. تفصيل التقسيم هو تجزيء المشاهدات عادة ضمن فرع مشترك من التراتبية إلى مستوى أكثر تفصيلًا من المستوى الذي تؤخذ فيه المشاهدات المفصلة.

unbiased sample A sample drawn and recorded by a method which is free from bias. Neuchatel Group The Neuchatel Group is an informal co-operation between the statistical offices of Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland to clarify some basic concepts and to arrive at a common terminology for classifications. The first meeting of the Group was held in Neuchatel, Switzerland in June 1999. Industry An industry consists of a group of establishments engaged in the same, or similar, kinds of activity. At the most detailed level of classification, an industry consists of all the establishments falling within a single Class of International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC).
