Executive Secretary Discusses with Libyan Official Mutual Cooperation |
United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of ESCWA Mohamed Ali Al-Hakim received on Wednesday 27 September 2017 Libya’s State Minister of Displaced and Migrant Affairs Youssof Abu Baker Jalala at the UN House in Beirut. Both officials discussed cooperation between ESCWA and Libya. Jalala commended the efforts of ESCWA and the organizers of the Regional Consultative Meeting on International Migration in the Arab Region held in Beirut on 26-27 September 2017. |

Executive Secretary Receives Sudan’s Interior Minister |
United Nations Under-Secretary-General and ESCWA Executive Secretary Mohamed Ali Al-Hakim received on Wednesday 28 September 2017 Sudan’s Minister of Interior Hamid Mannan Mirghani at the UN House in Beirut. Both officials discussed enhancing cooperation between ESCWA and Sudan. The meeting was also attended by Sudan’s Ambassador to Lebanon Ali Al-Sadeq Ali; Director of the Immigration Department, Brigadier-General Mahmoud Suleiman Mohammed; and Sudan’s Secretary-General for Migration Korar Tohwamy. |
