This high-level conference aims at addressing and emphasizing the importance and role the private sector plays in achieving inclusive growth and sustainable development through promoting competition. The meeting is designed to discuss a number of very critical and topical issues, such as the link between promoting competition and encouraging investment, how competition could raise productivity and the implications of enhancing competition on market structure. The participants of the meeting are heads of competition authorities and investment promotion agencies in the Arab region as well as selected international experts in the fields of competition and investment.
