1 February 2021	Expert meeting to review Action plan of the 2019 Cairo Declaration for agriculture and water sectors	In response to the recommendations of the Second High-Level Joint Committee for water and agriculture that was held on 19 October 2020, the Technical Secretariat of the Joint Arab Ministerial Council for Water and Agriculture (Technical Secretariat of the AMWC and AOAD) organized with ESCWA and FAO the Expert Meeting to review and discuss the draft executive plan to activate the Cairo Declaration 2019 for joint coordination between the agricultural and water sectors.
6 September 2019	Expert Group Meeting on Evaluation of Population Census Data in the Arab Countries	The expert group meeting aims to discuss the quality of census data through the introduction and discussion of several studies and papers on the assessment and evaluation of census data in Arab countries, specifically the age-sex data, within the framework of the 2020 census round or the end of the 2010 round of censuses that include comparisons between more than one census in the same country.

5 December 2014	Sub Regional Consultation on Labour Intensive Work Programmes as a Tool for Extending Social Protection	In the framework of its current focus on extending social protection in Arab countries, the Social Policy Section in ESCWA's Social Development Division, in cooperation with the ILO, is organizing a workshop on labour intensive work programmes for practitioners across the region. The workshop will be held at the Ministère de l’Investissement et de la Coopération Internationale in Tunisia from 25 to 26 September 2013.

20 April 2021	Series of Webinars on selected SDG Indicators for the Arab Region: ESCWA-FAO SDG2.5.1a, SDG14.4.1 and SDG14.7.1	The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN ESCWA ), in collaboration with UN Agencies, custodians of SDG indicators, is organizing a series of webinars on selected SDG indicators that are less produced in the Arab region to create a common understanding among data producers on how to collect, measure and disseminate SDG indicators to increase data production and enhance national data flow to policy makers, other users and custodian agencies.
