Location:
Beirut
The workshop was organized at the UN house on 6 and 7 November 2013.
It intended to contribute to promoting the development of national policies and programs of action that address the issue of youth unemployment in the five participating countries (Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Tunisia, and Yemen).
The workshop discussed a number of social and economic policies that affect youth unemployment, the education-labour market continuum, as well as issues relating to the economic structure of the target countries. This workshop’s discussions will also feed into an upcoming publication by ESCWA on youth unemployment in the five countries.
All materials are published in their original languages.
