9 March 2020	Supporting the Monitoring and Implementation of the SDGs in the Arab region: Transboundary water cooperation SDG 6 Indicator 6.5.2	The workshop is jointly organized by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE), ESCWA and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), in the framework of the UN Water Integrated Monitoring Initiative for SDG 6. The workshop aims to assist countries in the Arab region to collect, report and make use of data on SDG indicator 6.5.2 measuring progress in transboundary water cooperation, in the perspective of preparing the second reporting cycle in 2020.

20 May 2015	Social and Economic Situation of Palestinian Women 2009-2011	This report reviews the status of Palestinian women and girls during the period 2009-2010, focusing on political, social, economic and human rights developments. Building upon previously published research of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) on Palestinian women and girls, and looking at the most recent data available, this report highlights their complex status, revealing both successes and setbacks in the midst of a militarized occupation, a political divideand an attempt at grass-roots State-building.

The Committee starts its working sessions at 10.15 a.m. on Monday, 18 March 2013 with one session in the morning and two sessions in the afternoon. It resumes its work at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, 19 March 2013 with two sessions in the morning. The Committee concludes its proceedings at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, 19 March 2013.

7 December 2017	The Implementation of Good Practices in Road Traffic Safety	The Workshop on the Implementation of Good Practices in Road Traffic Safety aimed at discussing specific good practices in traffic safety related to human behaviour; vehicles; road design; specific examples of both good and poor practices in selected ESCWA member countries; strategies for implementing good practices and for managing poor practices in road traffic safety in the ESCWA region; and preparations for the Global Road Safety Week in April 2007.
