23 June 2019	In Morocco, Executive Secretary and senior officials reaffirm mutual cooperation	Beirut-Rabat, 18 June 2019 (ESCWA)--During her visit to the Kingdom of Morocco last week, United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of ESCWA Rola Dashti met with the Prime Minister, Mr. Saadeddine Al Othmani and other senior officials separately. Dashti reaffirmed the readiness of ESCWA to support Morocco in addressing socio-economic challenges, and to achieve a well-balanced development vision that leaves no one behind.

26 June 2019	Executive Secretary receives Saudi Ambassador in Beirut	Beirut, 26 June 2019 (ESCWA)--United Nations Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), Rola Dashti, today received Saudi Ambassador in Beirut Waleed Abdullah Bukhari on top of a delegation. Discussions revolved around issues of mutual concern. Following the meeting, Ambassador Bukhari highlighted that discussions focused on mutual cooperation and on supporting the mission of ESCWA across the Arab region.

2 July 2019	Lebanese Minister launches Open Government workshop, commends ESCWA presence in Lebanon	Beirut, 2 July 2019 (ESCWA)— Lebanese Minister of State for Administrative Reform May Chidiac today praised the synergy that exists between Lebanon and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA). The presence of the Commission in Lebanon has rendered it the general UN Headquarters in the Arab region and the most suitable setting for intellectual interaction.
