ESCWA and RICCAR are partnering with the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P), Morocco; on the organization of the “International Conference on Adaptation Metrics and Techniques for Water, Agriculture and Resilient Cities” in Benguerir, Morocco from 26 to 27 October 2018.

The Gender Statistics meetings brings together experts from the National Statistical Offices, Women Machineries, regional and international experts to review and discuss development of gender statistics for evidence-based policy making.
 

The Regional training workshop aims to improve technical capabilities in using gender statistics to monitor SDG Tier I and II gender indicators and in disseminating, communicating and using statistics and indicators.

Since 2005, several global processes have called for an integrated approach to climate change adaptation (CCA) and disaster risk reduction (DRR).

The workshop continues the work of the Task Force on Islamic Finance established by Intersecretariat Working Group on National Accounts mandated from the UNSC.
