The catalogue is a compilation of gender statistics related activities and outputs implemented by the Arab countries and the Statistics Division at the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).



This workshop aims to present the new UN Guidelines on Quality Evaluation of Civil Registration and Vital Statistics, review national experiences, provide technical support to improve civil registration procedures and strengthen capacity to produce high-quality vital statistics reports.  

As of 2018, six Arab States have implemented stand-alone violence against women laws, with other States having draft legislation underway.
