In the context of completing the project on energy consumption in the transport sector project, the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) organised a final meeting on launching the results of the survey for the three recipient countries, Egypt, Jordan and Palestine, between 23 and 24 July 2015 at the United Nations House, Beirut, Lebanon.

The aim of the meeting was to highlight the experience, present the results and recommend evidence-based national energy and transport policies. The meeting included participants from the recipient countries, and selected organizations where they presented their national experience and survey outputs and discussed the way forward.
