The webinar was held on Tuesday 17 November 2020 as part of the 2020 "Government after shock" forum, and as one of the conversations for   rethinking and rebuilding better government/public services through innovation. 

While addressing the agile government responses to the covid-19 pandemic in the Arab region, the webinar covered the following:
1-   Role of digital transformation in crisis response and pathways towards a better future.
2-   Role of public sector and public services during covid-19 crisis and beyond.
3-   Open and inclusive approaches by non-government stakeholders: What challenges and opportunities raised by the pandemic response and what will we take as we rebuild and look at a better future.

The webinar was jointly organized by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)/ SIGMA (Support for Improvement in Governance and Management), the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), and United Nations Economic Commission for Western Asia (UNESCWA), and as part of the "Government after shock" forum initiated by the OECD Observatory for Public Sector Innovation.

It will be held through Zoom platform with interpretation in English, Arabic and French.
