3 أيار/مايو 2017	افتتاح المنتدى العربي للتنمية المستدامة مطر: لن نتراجع أمام التحديات التي تطاردنا	قالت اليوم الأمينة التنفيذية للإسكوا بالوكالة الدكتورة خولة مطر إنه "على المستوى الإقليمي، كلنا على علم بالظروف والصعوبات التي قد تحول دون تحقيق خطة التنمية المستدامة لعام 2030 في المنطقة العربية. فتنفيذها يأتي في ظل تحدّيات جسيمة وازمات مزمنة وناشئة تشهدها المنطقة، وفي مقدمتها الاحتلال الإسرائيلي لفلسطين والحروب والنزاعات المسلحة التي أدت إلى موجة من اللاجئين والنازحين لم يشهد العالم بضخامتها منذ الحرب العالمية الثانية، بالإضافة إلى ارتفاع معدلات الفقر والبطالة وعدم المساواة".
4 أيار/مايو 2017	نموذج أولي لمحاكاة أهداف التنمية المستدامة	وقد طورت لجنة الأمم المتحدة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغرب آسيا (الإسكوا)، نموذجا أوليا لمحسوب نموذج التوازن العام كأداة كمية يمكن استخدامها لربط الأهداف الإنمائية المستدامة بين بعضها البعض من جهة وبين المتغيرات الاقتصادية والمالية والبيئية والاجتماعية المختلفة من جهة اخرى بالإضافة الى دمج أهداف الإنمائية المستدامة في التخطيط الاقتصادي.
