UN-ESCWA Executive Secretary, Mr. Bader Omar Al Dafa, received today Mr. Pushkar Shah, the Nepalese teacher who is touring the world on a bicycle to spread the message of peace.

The UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA) is conducting two consultative workshops on the joint management of shared aquifer systems in the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership (MEDA) region from 14 to 17 January 2008, at the Shepherd Hotel in Cairo, Egypt.
