pension fund governance The operation and oversight of a pension fund. The governing body is responsible for administration, but may employ other specialists, such as actuaries, custodians, consultants, asset managers and advisers to carry out specific operational tasks or to advise the plan administration or governing body. حوكمة صندوق التقاعد إنها عملية إقامة صندوق تقاعد والإشراف عليه. وتكون الهيئة الحاكمة مسؤولة عن إدارته ولكنها قد توظف الخبراء الآخرين على غرار الخبراء الأكتواريين وأمناء العهدة، ومدراء الأصول، والمستشارين للاضطلاع بالمهام التشغيلية المحددة أو لتقديم المشاورة إلى إدارة البرنامج أو الهيئة الحاكمة.
duration Duration is the weighted average term to maturity of a debt instrument. The time period until the receipt/payment of each cash flow, such as six months, is weighted by the present value of that cash flow, as a proportion of the present value of total cash flows over the life of the instrument. Present value can be calculated using the yield to maturity or another interest rate. The more the cash flows are concentrated toward the early part of a debt instrument’s life, the shorter the duration relative to the time to maturity. المدة المدة هي المتوسط المرجح للأجل حتى تاريخ الاستحقاق والخاص بأداة الدين المعنية. ويتم ترجيح الفترة الزمنية المتبقية حتى تلقي/ دفع كل تدفق نقدي، كأن تكون 6 أشهر، بالقيمة الحاضرة لذلك التدفق كنسبة من القيمة الحاضرة لمجموع التدفقات النقدية طوال حياة الأداة المعنية. ويمكن حساب القيمة الحاضرة باستخدام سعر العائد حتى تاريخ الاستحقاق أو أي سعر فائدة آخر. وكلما زاد تركز التدفقات النقدية صوب الجزء المبكر من حياة أداة الدين كلما قصرت المدة قياسا إلى الوقت المتبقي حتى تاريخ الاستحقاق.

interest concession An interest concession is a reduction, compared with commercial interest rates, in the interest rate charged on a loan taken out. Product Products are goods and services (including knowledge-capturing products) that result from a process of production. They are exchanged and used for various purposes: as inputs in the production of other goods and services, as final consumption or for investment. Production unit A production unit carries out an economic activity under the control and responsibility of an institutional unit using inputs of labour, capital and goods and services to produce outputs of goods and services. Enterprises can be very heterogeneous if they have several secondary activities that are quite different from their principal activities. statistical edit A statistical edit is a set of checks based on statistical analysis of respondent data, e.g., the ratio of two fields lies between limits determined by a statistical analysis of that ratio for presumed valid reporters. A statistical edit may incorporate cross-record checks, e.g., the comparison of the value of an item in one record against a frequency distribution for that item for all records. licensing agreement (in use of confidential data) A permit, issued under certain conditions, for researchers to use confidential data for specific purposes and for specific periods of time. This agreement consists of contractual and ethical obligations, as well as penalties for improper disclosure or use of identifiable information.
