implicit price deflator An implicit price deflator (IPD) is obtained by dividing a current price value by its real counterpart (the chain volume measure). When calculated from the major national accounting aggregates such as GDP, IPDs relate to a broader range of goods and services in the economy than that represented by any of the individual price indexes (such as CPIs, PPIs). Movements in an implicit price deflator reflect both changes in price and changes in the composition of the aggregate for which the deflator is calculated. المكمش للأسعار الكامنة يجري الحصول عليه عبر قسم قيمة السعر الحالي بنظيره الحقيقي (قياس الحجم التسلسلي). وعندما يُحتسب هذا المكمش استنادًا إلى أبرز إجماليات الحسابات الوطنية مثل إجمالي الناتج المحلي، يكون المكمش الكامن للأسعار متصلا بسلسلة أوسع من السلع والخدمات في الاقتصاد من تمثله أي من مؤشرات الأسعار الفردية مثل مؤشرات أسعار المستهليكين و مؤشرات أسعار المنتجين. تعكس الحركة في معامل انكماش السعر الضمني كلا من التغيرات في السعر والتغيرات في تركيبة الإجمالي الذي يتم حساب معامل الانكماش له.
