The Regional Campaign on "Secure Tenure" and "Good Urban Governance" represents the regional component of global campaigns undertaken in implementation of the HABITAT Agenda, the Millennium Declaration on Cities and other Human Settlements, and the millennium development goals. It aims to spearhead efforts and initiatives undertaken by national governments in the region, as well as local authorities, civil society organizations and the private sector to promote sustainable urban development and adequate shelter for all.
