This volume of the United Nations Legislative Series, entitled "national laws and regulations on the prevention and Suppression of international terrorism" has been prepared by the Codification Division of the Office of Legal Affairs, pursuant to paragraph 10 (b) of the Declaration on Measures to Eliminate International Terrorism (annexed to General Assembly resolution 49/60 of 9 December 1994). The aim of this compilation of national laws and regulations is to provide resource material and thereby contribute to enhancing international cooperation in the struggle against terrorism.
