This bulletin explains the content of a report entitled “Realizing the Future We Want for All” that sets out a vision for the future based on the core values of human rights, equality and sustainability. It recommends that the goals and targets of the MDG framework be retained beyond 2015. In addition, this bulletin includes another report entitled “A Regional Perspective on the Post-2015 United Nations Development Agenda” which identifies key priority areas for a global development agenda. 

This publication outlines the main social and economic indicators of ESCWA’s member countries. It was jointly prepared by the Statistics Division and the Office of the Executive Secretary. The data presented by this publication have been collected from diverse United Nations and national sources and are for the most recent year available at the time of data collection.

This document represents a profile that covers different areas related to the information society, including the components of the enabling environment such as policies, strategies, legal environment and infrastructure. It also includes the assessment of the process of capacity building and strengthening of the Information and Communications Technology sector as well as a detailed review of the most important ICT applications across various sectors.

The Arab Stakeholders Dialogue on Food Systems aims at providing an integrative and engaging platform to enable groups representing farmers, women, banks, engineers, private sector, and others as key stakeholders to share their role, perspectives, experiences, and issues on making the region’s food systems healthier, more inclusive and more sustainable, in addition to enhancing their resilience within the COVID-19 context.
