Egypt 4th national training workshop to improve use of gender statistics |
The national training workshop aims to improve technical capabilities in using gender statistics to monitor SDG gender indicators and in disseminating, communicating and using statistics and indicators. The workshop will cover topics such as: integrating a gender perspective into official statistics; presenting, disseminating and communicating gender statistics; and improving gender statistics literacy among data users. |

It focuses on several relevant areas including health, income security, the economy and education. It also addresses return and voluntary repatriation, and trafficking in persons during the pandemic. The paper and its accompanying policy brief present a set of actionable short- and medium-term policy recommendations to guide countries’ responses to these issues.
