ان تنامي أعمال العنف وتوسع ظاهرة الإرهاب، والنتائج الكارثية التي تحدثها، دفع بقضية مواجهتها إلى صدارة مختلف الاجندات الوطنية والاقليمية والدولية. بيد أنه ورغم كل الجهود المبذولة، لا تزال بلدان عربية عدة تواجه مخاطر الارهاب، والعنف، والحروب الداخلية، وما يرتبط بها من تفتت الكيانات السياسية والوطنية. وهذا العنف المتفاقم لم يقف عند الحدود الجغرافية للبلدان المعنية، بل طال بتداعياته البلدان المجاورة والبعيدة، وترك آثارا وجروحا دفينة من الصعب أن تندمل في كافة المجالات وعلى أكثر من صعيد. |
