The 2017 Annual Report provides an overview of key economic and social developments throughout the Arab region, as well as facts and figures about the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), its strategy and programme of work.

The key objective is to implement standard methods to produce, analyze and communicate better data for enhanced SDGs monitoring and reporting, and share national and regional experiences and facilitate inter-regional cooperation.
