Beirut, 25 June 2018 (Communication and Information Unit)— On Monday, the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) kicked off its 30^th Ministerial



“Land has true value. Invest in it.” That is the theme of this year’s World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought, marked annually on June 17th.

During the ministerial segment of the 30^th Ministerial Session taking place on 27 and 28 June, four side events are being organized to highlight the work of ESCWA.
