| Take-over (of enterprise group) | Like enterprises, enterprise groups may have many kinds of intergroup relations and integrate their operations partly or totally. Two (or more) enterprise groups may integrate entirely and become one group. In this process either both groups involved may lose their identity, because they are dissolved beyond recognition in the new organisation, or one group may remain largely the same. In the latter case the other group is generally much smaller; it is merely absorbed by the larger group, which remains largely the same.
