While the market for dollars in circulation outside the United States emerged in Europe in the 1960's , dollar deposits are now found around the world. More recently, a similar Eurocurrency market has been developing around the world

اليورودولارات هي ودائع بالدولار الأمريكي بحيازة عدّة مؤسّسات ماليّة خارج الولايات المتّحدة. صحيح أن سوق تداول الدولار خارج الولايات المتّحدة قد ظهرت في أوروبا في الستينيّات، إلاّ أن الودائع بالدولار منتشرة في كلّ أنحاء العالم. ومؤخّراً، بدأت سوق مشابهة للعملات الأوروبيّة بالتطوّر في أنحاء العالم.
