هي معاملات تجري بين مستثمر مباشر في اقتصاد معيّن و مؤسّسة استثمار مباشر في اقتصاد آخر من جهة، وبين فروع مؤسّسة استثمار مباشر تربط بينها علاقة استثمار مباشر ولكن غير تلك المقيمة في الاقتصاد عينه من جهة أخرى.
