مدى القيم الممكنة لخلية في جدول تعداد التكرارات حيث تمّ التلاعب بقيمة خلية أو محوها. وفقط في حال اصدار هوامش الجداول، يمكن وضع حدود للتوزيع المشترك المغلق. وتعرف إحدى الطرق لوضع حدود في الجدول باسم الخوارزمية المكوكية.
