This module provides readers with the main features of Internet governance and the history of the Internet and its technical development, and discusses various issues related to Internet governance and its challenges. It also describes the regional efforts in this context, and the activities of the League of Arab States (LAS) and the Arab Working Group on Domain Names and Internet Issues, as well as overviews the Arab Regional Roadmap for Internet Governance, launched by ESCWA in partnership with LAS, which was followed by the launch of the Arab Internet Governance Forum (Arab IGF).
