The the main purpose of the workshop is to take stock of progress in areas identified in 2015, as recommended by participants, such as Balance of Payments services statistics, Foreign Affiliates Statistics (FATS), Foreign Direct Investment statistics (FDI) and biuld on what is achieved. In addition, the workshop will address the aspects and methods of compiling statistics for specific services sectors such as travel and technical, financial services and assist in developing capacity of the Arab countries in these sectors.
