The Sudan National Strategy for ICT Industry was adopted in 2007 and is being followed up by a high-level ministerial commission and a supporting technical commission. It includes among its objectives moving towards the information society, the dissemination of ICT, providing access for all, increasing employment opportunities and reducing poverty.
