Tasks and Powers of the PWA: - Assume full responsibility of the management of water and wastewater resources in Palestine. - Prepare general water policies, strategies and plans and work on its ratification and execution. -Survey the available water resources and propose ways of allocation of water among different sectors. - Lay out plans and actions that are necessary to construct and develop the company and the regional water utilities, in addition to investigate and plan and evaluate water and wastewater projects or those that compliment them. - Prepare draft bills and regulations related to water and forward them to relevant authorities for approval and endorsement.
