The main goal of MAEP is to defend the interests of the elderly. It works with the Government and other NGOs to ensure that senior citizens receive proper health care, social security benefits and their living conditions are improved. MAEP strives also to widely involve the elderly in the social, political, economic and cultural life of the country. MAEP carries out activities in the following fields: home visit/nursing, day care center, advocacy, recreation, training, family support and health.
