Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC). Has had two basic missions: (1) to make a systemic assessment of the application of economic policies and reforms, including their impact on the economies of the region; and (2) to provide substantive support for the formulation of these policies and reforms by governments.
