The National Agenda for the Future of Syria Programme

The programme is meant to present the various national and regional stakeholders with viable solutions and workable scenarios to serve as an alternative discourse to the discourse of belligerence dominating the discussions at the moment. The findings of the policy papers are not meant to substitute political discussions and are not in any shape or form meant to impose solutions, nor to support or undermine the legitimacy of any stakeholder. Therefore, the Programme will have an open and inclusive approach to engaging all stakeholders in the process.

The programme is developed by ESCWA in collaboration with various partners within Syria to anticipate technical challenges facing the post-conflict transition especially with consideration to their impact and implications on regional development and stability
