11 December 2014	ESCWA-Rotary Report on Arab MDGs Launched at UN House	The project is of great benefit to secondary school and university instructors and students, and promotes joint cooperation between ESCWA, Rotary clubs in Lebanon, the Lebanese Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the Social Sciences Institute of the Lebanese University. It is the Arab Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) Report 2011, which was launched at the UN House this afternoon in the presence of Arab and foreign diplomatic delegates, educational personalities as well as Rotary members.

22 December 2015	Impact of the US Federal Reserve’s decision on its policy interest rate	1. The US Federal Reserve decided to raise its policy interest rate by 0.25 percentage point, by shifting the target band of Federal Funds rate from 0.00-0.25% to 0.25% to 0.50% on the 16 of December. It marked the first change in the US policy interest rate since 2008 and the first hike in policy interest rate since 2006 (See Chart 1).
