The growing interest in DAC is reflected in the activities and programmes carried out by several Governments of Arab countries, such as programmes for digitizing Arab cultural heritage content implemented by some ministries of culture, and initiatives by education institutions. However, measuring DAC remains a major challenge, given the limited mechanisms and methods to measure internet content, including social media networks, documents, files and various audio and video media.

  This project addresses the obstacles faced by rural communities in the Arab region in accessing modern energy services. It is aimed at strengthening the capacity of Arab countries to mainstream appropriate green technology initiatives into national development programmes and policies, in order to enhance the livelihood of rural communities.
