Annual Review of Developments in Globalization and Regional Integration in the Arab Countries, 2006 |
The fifth issue of the Annual Review, aimed at researchers and academics, analyses the degree to which the Arab economies have integrated into the global economy and the progress made in the Arab regional integration process. It provides policymakers with a set of recommendations on how best to proceed, both in terms of globalization and regional integration. Following thorough analysis, the principal conclusion of the review is that, in 2005, Arab countries made further progress in terms of both regional integration and integration into the global economy. |

Technical Cooperation between ESCWA and Morocco |
ESCWA, represented by its Deputy Executive Secretary for Programme Support Khawla Mattar, signed on 16 March 2017 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Moroccan Ministry of General Affairs and Governance, represented by Minister Mohamad Al-Wafa. The MoU aims to provide a framework for inter-institutional dialogue and cooperation on matters of common interest in the fields of sustainable development over the period 2017-2019. |
