20 May 2015	Guidelines for the Formulation and Implementation of ICT Strategy	These guidelines aim to support efforts made in the ESCWA region to develop the usage of information and communications technology (ICT) in economic and social development and building the information society. They were prepared in order to assist decision makers and policy planners in the region in formulating ICT strategies that are appropriate for the needs and priorities of the countries of the region, and in implementing, following up and regularly assessing those strategies.
11 December 2014	Promoting Renewable Energy	The past two decades witnessed the development of several renewable energy technologies, some of which have already been applied in different areas. The use of renewable energy technologies for meeting the energy needs of rural and remote areas adds a push to the achievement of two Millennium Development Goals: 1 "Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger" and 7 "Ensure Environmental Sustainability".
27 August 2018	Persons with Disabilities Living in Institutions in Arab Countries	Investigating the situation of persons with disabilities living in institutions in Arab countries and charting a way forward towards implementing Article 19 of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
12 November 2014	Social Development	Despite progress on a number of human development indicators in ESCWA countries in recent decades, inequality, vulnerability and social exclusion have not decreased and the link between economic growth and social development remains weak. In many ESCWA countries, certain social groups such as persons with disabilities, informal workers and the poor often lack adequate protection and remain highly vulnerable, especially in times of conflict and crises.
5 December 2014	Ten years anniversary of Security Council Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security	On 31 October 2000, the United Nations Security Council unanimously adopted Resolution 1325 on women, peace and security. The resolution highlights the role of women in conflict resolution and peace building, urges member states to provide adequate protection for women and girls in conflict situations and increase the representation of women in conflict resolution and peace building activities. It was an important step in emphasizing the gender dimension of conflict, conflict resolution and peace building.

28 February 2019	Policy Options for Promoting Green Technologies in the Arab Region	This report provides an overview of public policies that can be considered by Arab governments to promote green technologies while reducing the risk for businesses and industry and attracting investments at the same time. The report also focuses on the tools, regulations and policies necessary to create an enabling environment. The report presents best practices, and providing a pathway for other countries in the Arab region to follow.
12 November 2018	ESCWA Technology Centre (ETC) Board of Governors , 8th Meeting	The 8th Meeting of the Board of Governors (BOG) of the ESCWA Technology Centre (ETC) is taking place in Amman, Jordan on the 15^th of November 2018. The Board is comprised of official representatives from 13 Arab countries. During the Board meeting, the implemented work program of ETC during 2017/2018 will be presented. The work program includes organization of intergovernmental and expert group meetings, and publication of several technical studies and reports.
