11 December 2014	Arabic Script Use on Internet on UN-ESCWA Agenda	Arabic script on the internet will be the main subject of an expert group meeting (EGM) organized by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (UN-ESCWA), in cooperation with "Afilias" Global Registry Services and ".org" Public Interest Registry, and hosted by the Egyptian National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) on 8-10 November 2008 in Intercontinental Citystars Hotel, Cairo, Egypt.

25 July 2019	Advanced Workshop on Deploying Institutional Gaps Assessment Methodology in Yemen: Training of Trainers	The workshop is a training of trainers for senior Yemeni civil servants working in human resources management and planning. The workshop will provide training on the application of the institutional gaps assessment methodology within Yemeni ministries and departments that will be supporting the recovery and reconstruction process. The workshop will also train participants on the transfer of the acquired techniques and gaps assessment methodology on to their national counterparts, where needed. Furthermore, the workshop will analyze the institutional gaps assessment report on the Capacity Development Program, which will be presented to the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. The report is a stepping stone for the formulation of an institutional gaps assessment strategy.
