ESCWA Holds Eleventh Session for Transport Committee Under the Auspices of Lebanese Minister of Transport |
ESCWA is convening the 11th session of its transport committee on Monday 22 March 2010 at the UN House, Beirut, to facilitate trade and transport and achieve regional integration. The session is held under the auspices of Lebanese Minister of Transport Ghazi Aridi. The Session will be inaugurated at 10:00 AM, and continue until Wednesday 24 March. Opening statements will be delivered by Aridi or his representative, ESCWA Executive Secretary Bader AlDafa, and Palestine representative Mahmoud Khaled, in his capacity as the former chairperson of the session. |

Change Management in Public Sector Reform in Iraq |
On 28th April 2015 the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) concluded its capacity development workshop entitled “Change Management in Public Sector Reform” held in Istanbul, Turkey. Attended by 12 participants from the National Center for Management Development and Information Technology (NCMDIT) in Baghdad and 7 from the Kurdistan Institute for Public Administration (KIPA), the workshop discussed strategic needs of change management in support of the ongoing public sector reform in Iraq. |
