Decision Makers and Experts Gather to Discuss Arab Perspective for Shaping Future of Internet |
Under the theme "Arab Perspective for Shaping the Future of the Internet", and under the joint patronage of Lebanese Minister of Telecommunications Boutros Harb and ESCWA Executive Secretary Rima Khalaf the city of Beirut hosted on 26-27 November 2014 the Third Annual Meeting of the Arab Internet Governance Forum (AIGF-III) at the Movenpick Hotel. The Forum, which was held with the strategic partnership of the Lebanese Ministry of Telecommunications and Ogero Telecom, was preceded by a pre-event on 25 November 2014 for capacity building on Internet Governance. |

Both officials discussed cooperation between ESCWA and Libya. Jalala commended the efforts of ESCWA and the organizers of the Regional Consultative Meeting on International Migration in the Arab Region held in Beirut on 26-27 September 2017. |
