Task Force on Population and Housing Censuses, 6th Meeting |
The Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) with support of the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD) organized the sixth meeting of the Task Force on Population and Housing Censuses, Round 2010 in Beirut from 1 to 3 December 2009. The meeting aimed at discussing the Arabic translated version of the “Principles and Recommendations for Population and Housing Censuses, Revision 2” (PRPHCR2), making necessary modifications, exchanging relevant successful experiences and expertise among ESCWA member countries and discussing the future plan of the Task Force. |

Fourth Meeting for ETC's Board of Governors |
The fourth meeting of the Board of Governors (BOG) of the ESCWA Technology Centre (ETC) comes shortly after the composition of the new Board represented by 16 Arab countries for three years. Achievements for 2012, 2013, 2014 and the development of the ETC activities that cover many ESCWA member States will be presented during this meeting in addition to its work plan for the years 2015, 2016.
