The 22nd Regional Coordination Mechanism, hold in Doha on the sidelines of ESCWA’s 29th Ministerial Commission Session, was an opportunity for members of the UN family in the Arab region and the League of Arab States to engage in substantive discussions on areas of priority to development in the region.  Coinciding with the theme of the 29th Ministerial Session, the 22nd RCM focused on identifying joint initiatives and collaboration between the different agencies in supporting member States with the adaptation, implementation and monitoring of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
