Advanced Workshop on Deploying Institutional Gaps Assessment Methodology in Yemen: Training of Trainers |
The workshop is a training of trainers for senior Yemeni civil servants working in human resources management and planning. The workshop will provide training on the application of the institutional gaps assessment methodology within Yemeni ministries and departments that will be supporting the recovery and reconstruction process. The workshop will also train participants on the transfer of the acquired techniques and gaps assessment methodology on to their national counterparts, where needed. Furthermore, the workshop will analyze the institutional gaps assessment report on the Capacity Development Program, which will be presented to the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. The report is a stepping stone for the formulation of an institutional gaps assessment strategy. |

For the third year in a row, the Annual Digital Arabic Content Forum was jointly organized by ESCWA, the Arab Regional Office of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU-ARO), and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Egypt under the auspices of the League of Arab States (LAS). The host and co-organizer for this year was the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of the United Arab Emirates (TRA-UAE).
