The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) is currently leading efforts to strengthen national capacities in the Arab region on developing green production sectors.



Hosted by the government of the Kingdom of Morocco, ESCWA convened the 10th Session of its Committee on Social Development on 8-9 September in Rabat. Participants included representatives of Member States, in addition to representatives from regional and international organizations.
