toxic pollutants Toxic pollutants are materials contaminating the environment that cause death, disease and/or birth defects in the organisms that ingest or absorb them. The quantities and length of exposure necessary to cause these effects can vary widely. ملوثات سامة مواد تلوث البيئة وتسبب الوفاة أو المرض أو تشوهات المواليد أو جميعها لدى الكائنات الحية التي تتناولها أو تمتصها. ويمكن أن تتفاوت مقادير ومدة التعرض التي تسبب هذه الآثار تفاوتًا كبيرًا.
ecological equilibrium See Ecological balance تعادل إيكولوجي توازن وتعايش بانسجام فيما بين الكائنات العضوية وبيئتها.
equivalent factors Equivalent factors are factors used to convert quantities from their original physical units into a common accounting unit for the purpose of aggregating energy sources or assessing contributions” to environmental problems from diverse sources (for example, the contribution of different pollutants to global warming). عناصر- عوامل مكافئة عوامل تستخدم لتحويل كميات من وحداتها المادية الأصلية إلى وحدة محاسبة عادية لغرض جمع مصادر الطاقة أو تقييم مدى "مساهمة" مصادر متنوعة في إحداث مشاكل بيئية (كمساهمة الملوثات المختلفة في رفع حرارة العالم).
pesticide A pesticide is any substance or mixture of substances that is used to prevent, destroy or control pests — including vectors of human or animal disease, and unwanted species of plants or animals. Pesticides may cause harm during, or otherwise interfere with, the production, processing, storage, transport or marketing of food, agricultural commodities, wood and wood products or animal feedstuffs — or that may be administered to animals so as to control insects, arachnids or other pests in or on their bodies. مبيد آفات أي مادة أو مزيج من المواد يستخدم للوقاية أو لإبادة أو مكافحة الآفات التي تشمل ناقلات المرض البشري أو الحيواني، والأنواع غير المرغوب بها من النباتات أو الحيوانات. وقد تتسبب مبيدات الآفات بأضرار خلال إنتاج أو تجهيز أو تخزين أو نقل أو تسويق الأغذية أو السلع الزراعية أو الخشب ومنتجات الأخشاب أو أعلاف الحيوانات أو تعرقل هذه العمليات، أو قد ترش على الحيوانات لمكافحة الحشرات والعنكبوتيات والآفات الأخرى التي تعيش أجسامها أو عليها.
agricultural land and surface water (SEEA) Agricultural land and associated surface water is equivalent to the 1993 SNA category “land under cultivation” (AN.2112) except for the qualification on recreational land (see recreational land) and the exclusion of plantations. academic support for students Academic Support (International Standard Classification of Education (ISCED) 5-6) includes all personnel whose primary responsibility is to support the academic program of students. It includes all pedagogical support staff, as well as other professional support staff employed in tertiary education institutions. الدعم الأكاديمي للطلاّب يشتمل مقدّمو الدعم الأكاديمي (حسب التصنيف الدولي المقنن للتعليم – أسكد - مستوى 6-5 ) على جميع الموظّفين الذين تقضي مسؤوليّتهم الأساسية بدعم البرنامج الأكاديمي للطلاّب، وطاقم الدعم التعليمي والتربوي، وغيرها من طواقم الدعم المهني العاملة في مؤسسات التعليم العالي.
PISA index of disciplinary climate The Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) index of disciplinary climate summarises students’ reports on the frequency with which, in their : the teacher has to wait a long time for students to ; students cannot work well; students don’t listen to what the teacher says; students don’t start working for a long time after the lesson begins; there is noise and disorder; and, at the start of class, more than five minutes are spent doing nothing. A four-point scale with the response categories ‘never’, ‘some lessons’, ‘most lessons’ and ‘every lesson’ was used. This index was inverted so that low values indicate a poor disciplinary climate. برنامج التقييم الدولي للطلاب - مؤشر مناخات الانضباط يلخص مؤشر مناخات الانضباط إجابات الطلاب عن مدى تواتر ما يلي: انتظار الأستاذ تلاميذه لوقت طويل، عدم تمكن التلامذة من العمل جيداً، عدم إصغاء التلامذة لشرح الأستاذ، عدم بدء التلامذة بالعمل إلا بعد مرور فترة طويلة على بدء الحصة، تصاعد الضجيج وانتشار الفوضى ومرور أكثر من خمس دقائق عند بداية الحصة دون القيام بأي شيء. وتم استخدام مقياس من أربع نقاط وقسمت الإجابات إلى الفئات التالية: "أبداً"، "بعض الحصص"، "معظم الحصص" و"كل الحصص". هذا وتم عكس المؤشر بحيث تشير النتائج المتدنية إلى أجواء غير منضبطة.

statistical equilibrium In queuing theory, systems in “statistical equilibrium” are those in which the number of customers or items waiting in the queue oscillates in such a way that mean and distribution remain constant over a long period. التوازن الاحصائيّ في نظرية الاصطفاف، الانظمة التي تتمتع "بالتوازن الاحصائيّ" هي تلك التي يتأرجح فيها رقم العملاء أو البنود التي تنتظر في الصفّ بطريقة يبقى فيها المتوسط والتوزيع ثابتًا على مدى فترة طويلة.
life table A table showing the number of persons who, of a given number born or living at a specified age, live to attain successive higher ages, together with the number who die in the intervals. جدول الحياة جدول احصائي يصف احتمال الوفاة ما بين الولادة وانتهاء الحياة لفترات عمرية محددة.
PRODCOM The EU-wide harmonised classification of products produced by the industrial sector (directly linked to the external trade commodity classification) specified in Council Regulation No. 3294/91. الإنتاج المشترك بين أفراد الجماعة تصنيف الاتحاد الاوروبي المنسق للمنتجات التي ينتجها القطاع الصناعيّ (المتصل مباشرة بتصنيف سلع التجارة الخارجية) المحدّد في لائحة المجلس رقم 3294/91.
editing rationality An editing process that focuses on improving the incoming data quality and hence the overall quality of the survey data. pension fund managing company A type of administrator in the form of a company whose exclusive activity is the administration of pension funds. شركة إدارة صندوق التقاعد وهو شكل من أشكال الإدارة في الشركة وتنحصر بإدارة صناديق التقاعد.
duration of a fixed income instrument Duration of a fixed income instrument is a weighted average term to maturity. The time delay until the receipt of each cash flow is weighted by the contribution of that cash flow to the total present value of the bond. مدّة صكّ ذات دخل ثابت مدّة الصكّ ذات الدخل الثابت هو الفترة المتوسّطة المرجّحة للاستحقاق. يتمّ قياس الفترة الزمنيّة التي تفصل ما بين استلام كلّ تدفّق نقديّ بواسطة مساهمة التدفّق النقديّ هذا في مجموع القيمة الحاليّة للسند.
tax allowances Amounts deducted from gross earnings to arrive at taxable income. إعفاءات ضريبية إنها مبالغ مقتطعة من إجمالي الأرباح لبلوغ الدخل الخاضع للضريبة.

book reserved pension plans Sums entered in the balance sheet of the plan sponsor as reserves or provisions for occupational pension plan benefits.
