The purpose of this training workshop is to introduce participants to the stages of strategic analysis and strategic planning in public institutions allowing their implementation in specific institutions or departments. In addition, this training discusses strategic experiences to modernize the public administration, particularly restructuring and quality management experiences. This document is the participant’s file, which included the program of meetings and details on all the specific themes of the workshop. The meetings of the first day examined the topics of strategic management and strategic planning in public institutions. The meetings of the second day included the stages of the strategic planning process as well as the assessment of the external environment. Finally, the third day focused on assessing internal capacities.
