Within the context of implementing the Smart Community Project (SCP) in Iraq, UN-ESCWA created a website that includes detailed information on the various components of the project and training services available in the Multipurpose Technology Community Centres. This is in addition to technical sheets on technologies adopted in the Agro-Food Processing Units established in two locations in North and South Iraq as well as on the auxiliary facilities of the project such as water purification systems and solar water heating.

 

The website links its users to the Project's main documents as well as the cooperation and networking arrangements established with local partners such as local universities, municipalities and other UN agencies that are implementing certain components of the project.
