The intervention of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, the president of Higher Council for Science and Technology and the leadership of Her Royal Highness Princess Sumaya bint El Hassan, the president of the Royal Scientific Society and President of the Board of Governors of the Amman-based ESCWA Technology Centre (ETC), marked the Centre's 3rd Technical Committee Meeting, which was held on 2-3 June 2014 at the Society's headquarters. The meeting was convened in conjunction with the 14th meeting of the Coordination Committee of the Industrial Research Centers in Arab countries of the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO). Participating in the meeting were 40 experts hailing from 15 Arab countries, who discussed ETC's progress from 2011 to present and its work plan for biennium 2014-2015.
