The OECD’s monthly publication, Main Economic Indicators (MEI), provides an overall view of short-term economic developments through presentation of an extensive range of specific short-term economic indicators.These indicators are important instruments for the formulation of economic policy at the national level and for use by international organisations such as the OECD, IMF, Eurostat and the European Central Bank (ECB).
