The vision for the Global Education Initiative was established during the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2003. The overall objective of the Global Education Initiative is to catalyse education initiatives at the global, regional and country levels through the establishment of multistakeholder partnerships (MSPs), involving the private sector.
